This year, the theme of Engineer’s Week is “Engineer’s Dream Big.” During Engineer’s week, we celebrate the contributions that engineers have made to our world, promote dialogue for the need of science and engineering in the shaping our future, and encourage science and engineering studies for children, parents and teachers.
At this year’s dinner, we will specifically be:
Celebrating the contributions of local engineers through awards conferred on members of local engineering professional societies in Huntsville.
Bringing engineering to life by inviting local students from various schools to the pre-dinner reception where they will present engineering and science fair projects undertaken within the past year (a new feature for this event).

Sponsorships are always essential in making an event such as this one possible. They allow us to provide an appropriate local forum where the best in the engineering fields can be recognized, and this year they will permit the hosting (during the pre-dinner reception) of aspiring student engineers and scientists as they present their work to practicing local engineers. We hope to raise enough in sponsorship to defray the dinner costs for those presenting students so that they may attend the dinner as guests of the local engineering community.
If you are in the position to do so, we would gratefully appreciate your consideration of sponsorship. Corporate sponsors will be listed in the program, thanked by name during the event, and included on any literature advertising the event. All sponsorship donations are tax deductible. For the different sponsorship levels, we would also like to offer tickets to the dinner, to be dispersed as the sponsor sees fit.
- $250 ‘Bronze’ sponsorship – 2 tickets to the dinner
- $500 ‘Silver’ sponsorship – 4 tickets to the dinner
- $1000 ‘Gold’ sponsorship – 8 tickets to the dinner
