POY 2023

The Huntsville Association of Technical Societies (HATS) has supported the Huntsville community for over 50 years and proudly hosted the 17th Annual Professional of the Year Awards Celebration. We celebrated the awards on October 6, 2022 at the Torch Freedom Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This was a virtual presentation because of continuing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to return to an in-person event in 2023.

Summer Social 2022

The Huntsville Association of Technical Societies invited all members of our member societies to hang out with us and their peers for our summer social event at the Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center on Thursday, 18 August 2022. The event started with a meeting in a private room for a HATS. Then we will moved to reserved bowling lanes for an hour of free bowling, pizza, and drinks.

Professional of the Year Banquet 2018

Our 2018 POY Awards Dinner was a huge success with the announcement of our award winners at the Grand Hall at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. Our 2018 Moquin Award winner is Ms. Kathy Land of IEEE. Our Society of the Year Award winner is Women in Defense. The second annual award for the Young Professional of the Year was awarded to Ms. Lisa McCollum of ASME.
